SATVAM CHARITABLE TRUST

Satvam by its name is inspired from Sanskrit word Sattva which is quality of balance, purity, harmony, positivity and serenity. The SATVAM Charitable Trust facilitates and supports an integral balance of human life by promoting sustainable social and economic changes. It has been very well said, “Success is not all about money but it is about how much lives you have uplifted”. SATVAM is actively involved in Public Health, Education and Environment.

PUBLIC HEALTH

Healthcare is a basic human right. We believe in a better future with public health for all. We strive to provide better access to quality and affordable healthcare to Economically weaker and Rural populations. Major interventions include establishing charitable hospitals, mobile clinics, and beginning to support health counseling centers; establishing research institutes, running illness treatment camps, expert doctor meetings, medical camp seminars; offering free care to AIDS and cancer patients; Educating the public about incurable diseases and putting those diseases' preventative measures into action.
Apart from that we support technical education in engineering, education, medicine, and paramedicine promoting these topics in colleges and schools. Organizing senior citizen health camps. Educating the public about organ and eye donation. Other activities involve promoting Yoga for human health, and organizing yoga, and meditation camps.

EDUCATION

Educational Scholarship Program: The objective of the program was to provide financial assistance to students from economically weaker families who are willing to pursue higher studies but cannot meet their needs. This program is executed in Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Similarly promoting youth not only in education but also sports or other areas of interest.
Other activities involve Organizing various training classes for youth, women, farmers and workers in society and also providing them with skill development education. Guiding various individuals, entities, and organizations in society on the topics of leadership development, innovative initiative concepts, time management, planning projects for them and organizing lectures, camps and workshops for them.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

We are committed to achieving excellence through our Environment Protection and preservation. Activities include Tree plantation, Water reservation, awareness and applicability of biodegradable materials.
